My puppy had an allergy test with few scrapes. Is it accurate?

My 5 month old pit bull supposedly got a allergy test. I'm sceptical because there were only about 4 little scrapes on her belly. Is that how the test can be performed or not? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 4 months and 28 days old | 40 lbs

there are several type of allergy tests, there is one that involve shaving an area and testing several allergen injected on that area, that could be what was done to Roxi according to your description. this isn't a very common allergy test though, but to be fair all allergy tests are considered to be extremely limited by most vets.
