My dog's stomach is still big after deworming. Should I be concerned?

Is my dog okay? His stomach is just oddly big, (had deworming one last week). But his stomach is still big and I'm worried he's sick. Drinks lots and lots of water, and his poo is normal. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 6 days old | 9 lbs

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. It does not sound as if Twix is showing symptoms of being sick based on your description. I would bring a fecal sample of Twix's to his veterinarian to ensure that he is clear of intesti nal parasites. Sometimes when puppies engorged themselves on food the belly can become large. To be safe, I would have the stool checked for problems and have Twix examined. Make sure he is not eating too much food to cause his belly to enlarge. I hope this helps!
