Why does my cat sneeze mucus from one nostril? Is it allergies?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 4 lbs

Shedevil sneezes mucus, especially from her left nostril. Then it dries and blocks her breathing. Alot of the time, she has to breathe through her mouth until I can wipe it off. The mucus also can go flying on the couch, bed, or walls. Could this be caused by an allergy? Should I give her some type of antihistimines?

It's not likely to be an allergy, it is probably ab upper respiratory infection or a nasal polyp. you will need to take Shedevil to the vet in order to get it checked and treated, hopefully a course of antibiotics will solve the problem.
