My guinea pig has something out of his butt and won't eat or drink?

my guinea pig has something sticking out of him around his butt area and he hasn't been eating or drinking. i have no idea if he's suffering and i feel so bad for him. Pet's info: Other | Unknown - Other | Male

I suspect it could be a prolapsed rectum. However other possibilities would be a tumor or some sort of infection or wound. If he isn't eating or drinking then it is likely causing him some sort of discomfort. I would encourage you to seek care for him - hopefully they can help him, and if not you may consider humane euthanasia. I'm sorry Rascal is so sick. I hope this was helpful.
