My puppy ate chocolate granola bars. Is it dangerous? What to do?

My dog just ate two chocolate granola bars, is she going to die? What should I do? She is currently a 4 month old,27lb German shepherd

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Sorry to hear that. How affected Nova will be depends on how much chocolate there is in those granola bars. If it is just the typical granola bar that only contains a few chips then she is likely going to be ok but again would depend on the amount. If this happened recently within the last 2 hours, there is still time to induce vomiting. You can always contact ASPCS animal poison center to let them know exactly how much chocolate there is which will depend on the type of bars (let them know the kind).     I think it will be ok. It may cause vomiting and diarrhea from the increase in sugar, and if that lasts for longer than 24 hours then Thor should get checked out by the vet for dehydration and treatment.
