Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male | neutered | 6 years and 5 months old | 18 lbs

Hi, My dog just ate almost half a kilo of raw turkey. I left it out and he just ripped the thing open. By the time i got back in the kitchen the whole pack was gone. Imy just wandering if it can cause him to be seriously ill? He not on a raw diet at all so I'm kinda expecting some vomiting and diarrhea but just wanna make sure that it can not turn into an emergency or if it does what symptoms should I look for ? Thank you

This can cause pancreatitis in a small dog such as your Puppy. If he starts excessive vomiting and has a stomach ache then bring him in to your veterinarian immediately for treatment. Dogs are scavengers so he could be fine. I definitely would monitor him closely and seek veterinary care right away to prevent a serious problem if he seems ill.
