My new kitten is sneezing with discharge. What to do while traveling?

Hi there I just recently adopted a tiny tuxedo kitten on Monday from an animal shelter and since then he has started sneezing more and more and I'm seeing discharge come out of his nose and his left eye I'm currently in Arkansas and I'm driving down headed to Texas is there anything I can do to help his condition to make the ride more comfortable before I get to Texas and take him to the vet

So sorry Monkey is having this issue. There isn't really anything you can give a kitten that small over the counter as far as medications are concerned. If you are stopping to sleep at a hotel you can put him in the bathroom and shut the door with a really hot steamy shower running. The steam will "nebulize" him and may make him feel better. Keep his eye and nose wiped off with a wet cotton ball. If cats can't smell they often won't eat. That is the best advice I can give you until you get to a vet. Hope this helps. Best wishes!
