Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 10 years and 10 months old | 10 lbs
I'm worried, He currently has these issues: Hard lumps under his skin all over varying in size and has a black scab underneath his nail (he has thumbs on his front paws and between them are nails growing out of the skin/bone) and when the scab is picked it expels a brown liquid and it bleeds a lot. I'm worried because this lump hurts and I don't know what is causing the lumps all over his body. There isn't that many. He also has normal white worms they won't goaway..I need more words to explain.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! The lumps could potentially be tumors. This could be a benign or malignant growth. This is most of the time differentiated with a test called a fine needle aspirate which is easy, cheap and pain-free. Sometimes, a biopsy is required for a diagnosis. Have Bumble bee evaluated by your veterinarian to have this test performed to try to sort out what the diagnosis is so that the best course of action can be determined. They could evaluate his nails as well which he could potentially have an infection going on. Keeping my fingers crossed that it is something benign!

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! These could be benign or malignant growths. There is no way of knowing what it is just based on its appearance. This is often differentiated by a test called a fine needle aspirate (FNA) which is a pain free, inexpensive and easy procedure which in most cases will help reach a diagnosis. Sometimes a biopsy is needed for a definitive diagnosis. There could also be skin disease going on as well. I recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. I am really hoping for something benign. Good luck and have a good day!
