What is this raised black bubble on my dog's lip near his nose?

My 8 mo boxer has a raised circular black hard bubble in edge of his upper lip nearest his nose any ideas? Thnx

Hi and thanks for your post! It is hard to say exactly what the cause of Oliver's lesion without examine Gilmore first, but I can offer some insights. It could be a fungal infection or a small tumor such as a Mast Cell Tumor or a Histiocytoma .Your veterinarian can diagnose these potential conditions with a few skin tests and by taking a small sample of the mass.
