Can a kitten get a rabies shot earlier than 12 weeks old?

The earliest age of vaccination is set by the government (in the US) and the vaccination companies, and they list 12 weeks as the earliest a kitten can be vaccinated for Rabies. If we give it earlier than 12 weeks, that cat would not be considered legally vaccinated. I hope that was helpful! Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
