My puppy has sudden white bumps on his head. What could they be?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 11 months and 19 days old | 60 lbs

Our young dog, a lab mix, has 2 new bumps on the top of his head that have white tops. They look almost like warts but have come quickly.

Hi and thanks for your post on Pet Coach! It is hard to say what the bumps are exactly without examine Bear first, but I can offer some insights. Sometimes young dogs can get wart like growth on their face including head and muzzle that are caused by the canine papilloma virus. These typically do not need any medication or surgical removal and will resolve on their own over time. It is a common occurrence in younger dogs. These will spontaneously resolve if that is what these bumps are. I would have a veterinarian examine Bear just to be sure. Best wishes to you!
