Why does my cat cry, meow at door, and bite to sleep? Anxiety?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 5 months and 19 days old | 6 lbs

I have a cat and every night in my room he cries and cries at my door unless I call his name he will come up on my bed with me but if I stop talking to him he gets off my bed and repeats the process of meowing at the door. When he goes to sleep he also has an issue where he has to bit or nibble on something while trying to sleep, and if no ones around him sometimes he meows until he sees me or someone in my house. I don't understand why he does this? Does he have anxiety?

He is cute! He could have some anxiety and you could try a Feliway diffuser or spray and see if that helps. You could also try Solliquin chews and see if that helps, too. Also, I recommend having him neutered in the next couple of months. https://www.feliway.com http://www.solliquin.com/
