pet dog has heavy growth of klebsiella spp. in right eye. Should I suspect foreign body? Treat with what abx? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | spayed | 18 years and 7 months old | 70 lbs

Hi and thanks for your post on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! You will need to see your veterinarian for an ocular exam to determine if there is a foreign body in the eye. The antibiotic that would be efficacious towards Klebsiella would be a ophthalmic solution that contains tobramycin or gentamicin. Best of luck!
