My dog has been very lethargic for 24hours and just ate an acorn should I be worried

Hi and thanks for your post on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I would be more concerned about the lethargy for 24 hours than the acorn she just ate. Acorns are generally not toxic to dogs unless eaten in large quantities. At most, GI upset such as diarrhea or vomiting could occur. The biggest concern with eating acorns is the possibility of the acorn causing an intestinal obstruction. I would advise you to take Buddy into his veterinarian if he is still lethargic tomorrow. There are a variety of medical conditions that can cause lethargy, so having Buddy examined and perhaps preforming some blood work on him will help get some answers.
