Why won't my bulldog walk on a leash? Tips to get her moving?

Question

I'm a dog walker, and yesterday, I tried walking a bull dog who just wouldn't move. I tried gently pushing her from behind, I tried walking forward as though she hadn't stopped, I tried waiting with her for a bit, and nothing worked. The owner was not very understanding and if I don't do a good job next time, I worry it won't go well. Do you have any advice? Pet's info: Dog | English Bulldog | Female

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It sounds like Emily doesn't like the leash. I would still hook it to her but try lureing her forward with treats and a happy voice vs pressure on her leash/collar. I would give her a lot of attention before trying to walk her too so she gets used to you. I hope this helps! Good luck!!
