What's this white bump inside my dog's lip? Does it need a vet?

Hello, My dog has this white bump inside his lip and I am wondering if he should go to the vet or would it go away in its own... he doesn't s seem to be bothered by it. Thanks!

That looks like a viral papilloma to me. Papillomas are benign and tend to go away on their own. However, it is impossible to diagnose a growth on just a picture alone so if the growth gets larger or gets irritated it's worth having your veterinarian look at it up close.
