Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 2 years and 8 months old | 20 lbs
My dog wakes up howling/crying. Sometimes he does it while he's fully asleep, but recently he has started waking up and THEN howling. He sits up, looks around, and then cries. It's starting to get more frequent, and I never hear him make this noise while he's up and around. I assumed it was bad dreams (shelter dog) but now that he's making these noises while he's awake, it's worrying me. Any ideas?
