Is it normal for my nursing cat's milk supply to decrease at night?

Why does my cat milk production decrease at night ???

I've never heard that cats produce less milk in the night. The kittens may be drinking all the milk earlier in the day and it takes time to produce more milk. Icy should have the most milk when the kittens have been asleep for a while and not nursing. Please feed Icy at least twice daily and have fresh water available at all times.
