What are the requirements for international Yorkie puppy travel?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Female | unspayed | 1 month and 4 days old | 1.6 lbs

My Yorkie was born on August 15th, 2017. I want to travel interantionally with her in the middle of December. I checked that they can get vaccinated for rabies at 3 months old, so they can travel at 4, I just wanted to double check if that's ok and if there's anything else I should consider. Thank you

Yes, they can be vaccinated for rabies at 12weeks, they must be microchpped and have an eu pet passport. Tapeworm treatments are required depending upon where you travel from, certain none eu countries require additional health certificates also
