My dog has a yellow ulcer or wound on his testicle. What to do?

Place came up on my labradors testicle it is yellow and looks like an ulcer. What can I do?

Poor Drake!! It looks like he has a wound with some infection on his scrotum. I would recommend having your vet clean the area and evaluate it. Drake may need a simple topical cleaning solution and ointment, or your vet may determine that an oral antibiotics is needed to clear the infection. Until you are able to have Drake seen I would advise that he wears an ecollar to ensure that he does not lick andbitger tge affected area as this can make things much worse. Your vet may recommend that Drake also wears an ecollar as part of the treatment process.

    Hi there and thank you for using Pet Coach! From the picture you provided, this looks like a burn or superficial wound. I would go buy an elizabethan collar (plastic cone) and keep this around Drake's head to prevent him from licking at this wound. An over the counter veterinary product that I recommend is called Zymox topical antibacterial cream. I would use this and if there is no improvement, I would suggest having this looked at by a veterinarian for further testing / treatment. I hope this helps!
