My dog is being bitten, has scabs, and is licking herself raw.

Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 5 years and 9 months old | 65 lbs

My roommate's bull mastiff is. 1.5 years old and bits my blue nose Pitt all the time.its getting worse.i think the stress has her licking and bitting herself raw.is this poss? She's my daughter,im a single 32 year old man.but I don't want to be selfish and make her go through this if I can find her a better home if that would help her.i could around 100 scabs from where she has been bitten in the las week or so.thx so much for what you do, sincerely jason

I am sorry to hear about Roxy. Based on your photos I definitely think she needs to see a veterinarian. She likely has a bacterial or yeast infection of the skin (or both) which could be secondary to allergies or mites. She needs a vet exam to check for these issues and prescribe appropriate treatment. If your roommate's dog is biting in aggression, this also needs to be addressed with a vet as this is a large dog and could do a great deal of damage if the biting continues/worsens.
