My orphaned bunny's feet and ears have poor circulation. What to do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Male | unneutered | 2 days old | 0.5 lbs

Hi. I have recently started formula feeding this domestic rabbit after it's mother rejected it. It appears to have lost circulation in its back feet and ears. Any suggestions on why or what I can do? Thank you

This may be why the mother rejected it. Orphan rabbits have a poor rate of survival even when healthy. Consider an exam with your veterinarian or an experienced wildlife vet to diagnose infection or injury. In the meantime, keep the bunny warm and continue to feed it.
