My dog's injured eye is watering, is this normal during healing?

Hello Doc My dog scooby had an eye injury.. We had taken him to vet and he's eye was healing nicely. Today suddenly he's eye started watering..normal clear tears without any discharge..Is this normal during the healing process ?.. He's eye drops are still on and he's behaviour is normal. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 7 years and 11 months old | 30 lbs

Any time we are dealing with the eyes I get concerned because they are so fragile. IF something has changed in his healing process - now has clear discharge -- I would recommend taking him back to the vet for a re check on his eye. With all the effort you have put in to his healing so far it would stink to take a step back. I hope that helps
