Already had rabies vaccine. Do I need another after a new bite?

Hey doc melanie, I read your reply. I'm just gonna post here. Does this mean that I don't need an anti rabies vaccine cos I was scratched by a cat a few months before and I was given an anti rabies shot already. And last thing was I wasn't really sure if the pain was from his bite.

Hello :-) If you have already gotten the anti-rabies vaccine recently, no you do not need another one. Sometimes a person can get random, shooting pains in their body, or maybe you were bit by an insect?? I'm not sure! I hope this helps!
