Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 7 months and 8 days old | 6 lbs
My dog just turned 7 months this month. He is a yorkie/pomeranian. Today I was sitting in the floor playing with him and i noticed a black circle down towards where his texticles are. i googled the problem and testicular tumors came up. he is a very fluffy dog and i have no idea how long he has had that and i have no idea what to do. my local vet it closed so i can't call and ask and i'm freaking out and i don't know what to do.

I can understand being worried, but cancer in a seven month old puppy would be extremely rare, so I don't think you need to worry about that! This black circle could be due to a skin infection or an injury. As long as Marley is behaving normally, eating and drinking, and going to the bathroom normally, there is no reason to rush to the vet tonight. I would have him seen by a vet in the next couple of days to have this area checked out. The vet can diagnose what is causing it and how best to treat it. I hope this helps you and you aren't freaking out anymore :-)

That is very unlikely to be a cancer, but only a spot of skin infection. A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics may be needed. Please do not hesitate to contact us again on the forum or by requesting a consultation if you have any more questions or to discuss it any further.
