Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 13 days old | 10 lbs

My 4 month old puppy won't eat. We was feeding him wet food for about two week and my husband decide to buy him adult food.. We thought he will eat it but he won't.. And I don't why he bought adult dog food when he's only 4 month. But we even try mixing some of the wet food with the dry food and he still won't eat it food. and I don't if its because we was feeding him wet food or because its adult food and he still have a puppy taste bud.

Do not feed him adult food, it will not provide the nutrition Prince needs as a growing puppy. Try warming his puppy food slightly before feeding. You can also mix in an appropriate puppy milk replacer or a teaspoon of baby food to stimulate his appetite. If he still won't eat, have Prince examined by your veterinarian to diagnose illness or injury.
