Why is my dog dry heaving all day but eating and drinking normally?

My dog has been dry heaving all day. It started out as once every few hours and has become more frequent. He's having trouble sleeping,but is eating and drinking normally. His gums are pink and his belly doesnt feel distended. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 7 months and 1 day old | 54 lbs

Oh my. Sawyer does sound like he is having some upper airway issues for sure. Several things could be causing this, including: a foreign body ingestion (down his trachea), a upper airway infection, or even a condition called laryngeal paralysis could be causing this.
