Why does my dog have swollen, pus-filled bumps on her lips?

My dog is 8 years old. She is mixed with rotwieler and lab. I just noticed tonight that she has swollen bumps on each side of her lip that when I squeeze them a little puss came out with some blood. But they feel swollen. She doesn't wine or anything when I squeeze them. But I would like to know what they are and what could cause that? Thank you. Sincerely amber. These seem to be an infection, you might want to switch her water bowl to a stainless steel one as this could be the source. you will have to take her to the vet as this condition will require a course of antibiotics to resolve.
