My 3-month-old puppy missed vaccines. Is it too late for core shots?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 2 days old | 8.5 lbs

Hi , I have a mixed breed ( a white half lab half German shepherd ) puppy who is 3 months old now but I missed all the vaccinations . Is it too late to get him vaccinated if not then what's the core vaccination I need to get . Also the place I live , I don't trust the vets as they do not treat animals properly. I will highly appreciate your advice.

Bongo is very cute! It is never too late to have vaccines given. He needs a distemper/parvo combination with a booster 3-4 weeks later. He also needs a rabies vaccine. Those are the core vaccines in the States. I would recommend these vaccines be given by a vet. I would talk to other pet owners in the area for recommendations of the vet they use. Good luck and kisses to Bongo!
