Will hookworm meds hurt my Pyrenees if he has no worms?

Hi and thanks for your question. Hookworms is typically treated with pyrantel or fendbendaze. These medications are typically very safe and should not cause a problem to animals who take them even if Felix dies not have hookworms.     It shouldn't if he was given a correct dosage for his size. If he got into a dose that was too much, it would be best to contact your local vet or animal poison control (https://www.aspca.org/pet-care/animal-poison-control) to see if he requires extra care.
