Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 4 months and 25 days old
I started potty training my dog from the very first day, and it went well. He ate twice went out twice and defecated each time. Once after every meal. These times remained regular for 3mo, now since yesterday he is defecating inside his crate with irregular timings. He did it 6x in a row! Doesn't bark to go/shows signs. He used to poo once after one meal now does it thrice after 1 meal on irregular times.. sometimes 9pm sometimes 3am. And I took him out 5 x before bed bed but he didn't poo!?!??

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Potty training can be frustrating. I commonly see puppies learning quickly and not having accidents get to this age and just forget everything they have learned. As long as there is no medical problem, I would go back to the basics- stay on a schedule, lots of trips outside to prevent an accident, lots of praise when he goes outside. This behavior usually lasts about a week and then they snap back to normal. Good luck and kisses to Max!
