Why is my Maltese puppy shaking its head and legs when resting?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 4 months and 27 days old | 4 lbs

My 5 months old malteese terier shaking badly on her legs and head when she dont walk . All her blod examins shows nothing serious . What cause this behavior? Help

Hello, sorry to hear about Barfi. If all of her blood examinations are coming back within normal limits, including her blood sugar, they I would recommend consulting with a neurologist. What you are describing may be a signs of intention tremors, which could be associated with cerebellar disease, or improper development of her cerebellum. Nonetheless, there are other conditions such as a liver shunt or some rare myopathies which could cause her tremors. If her signs worsen when attempting to eat, or when becoming excited, then I would be most suspicious about cerebellar disease. Please consult with your veterinarian about a referral to a neurologist if deemed adequate for Barfi. Hope this helps and best of luck.
