My rabbit has wind pain. Is Infacol safe with sodium saccharin?

Is infacol safe for rabbits? It has sodium saccharin in it which I'm not sure is ok. My rabbit has wind pain and I have been massaging her stomach and read that infacol could help as well.

The active ingredient, simethicone, has been used in rabbits safely. Excess gas can be caused by gut stasis which is very serious if left untreated. The underlying cause of the "wind pain" should be diagnosed and treated if possible. Feed a high fiber diet (as much timothy hay or similar grasses as she wants to eat) and see your veterinarian if she does not improve or is not eating.
