What is a better meat source in dry dog food...chicken or turkey? Is there one that is more easily digestible? One that is healthier? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 1 year and 7 months old | 27 lbs

HI, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I only tell clients to restrict chicken if there is suspicion of skin or intestinal allergies. Chicken is a safe and healthy choice. I see no difference is digestibility or health by choosing one over the other. If Annabelle is thriving on her current diet I see no reason to change it. I just advise owner to look for the AAFCO statement on the bag of dog food indicating it has gone through nutritional studies. I hope this helps and I wish you and Annabelle the best!
