My spayed puppy is peeing blood and having accidents, is this normal?

My 7 month old pup was spayed yesterday and has had multiple pee accident in house. It looked pink to me so I dipped it for urinalysis and it showed large for blood. Is this normal? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | spayed | 6 months and 28 days old | 65 lbs

It is not normal for blood to be present in a dog's urine, although it is possible to get a false positive on a urine dipstick. I would recommend having a veterinarian perform a microscopic examination of a urine sample. A urinary tract infection would be the most common cause of blood in the urine of a young dog.
