there are multipe seeping ulcerations plus small red spots surrounding the open ulcers along the back of my 4years black female australian shephard. no changes in diet. saw a new groomer monday. she cringes from touching it but her disposition has not changed. Pet's info: Dog | Australian Shepherd | Female | spayed | 3 years and 6 months old | 49 lbs

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Goodness poor Riley!! From your pictures it looks like a skin infection or hot spots. It could be a reaction to the shampoo used at the groomer. They do look ulcerative and painful. I would make an appointment with your Vet first thing tomorrow morning. They will likely prescribe antibiotics and steroids. I hope this helps and I wish Riley a speedy revovery!
