Puppy has staph infection and lost hair. Is this common for puppies?

Have you ever heard of staphylococcus? We are adopting a puppy and he has it. We get him in 2 weeks. The lady told me it was a staph infection and in the air nothing she did. Others in the littler had it as well. He lost hair in spots on his back feet. I have attached a pic. I just want to know if this is common. He was on antibiotics and she said the hair will grow back. Pet's info: Dog | Australian Shepherd - miniature | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 18 days old

So cute! That is a common bacteria on the skin and sometimes it can cause a skin infection which can be treated with an antibiotic. The best thing would be to have your vet take a look at him after you get him to make sure he doesn't need additional treatment.
