My dog has severe HGE. Should I get a second opinion on his care?

my dog has been at an emergency clinic since sunday and he is still there. they have diagosed him severe HGE, i just want to see if i could get a second opinion. i have attached his lab results. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 2 years and 7 months old | 4 lbs

Hi there. It looks like Sancho is pretty sick. Without more information on his clinical signs it is hard to give a full second opinion. I will say that the progressive anemia and the platelets dropping really concern me. In these cases if they are not responding to typical therapy I would want further diagnostics such as a pathology review of the CBC, and possibly abdominal ultrasound. Is there any chance he has been in contact with rodenticide?
