Changing kitten food to Taste of the Wild: Safe? How long will 15lb last?

I'm getting my Sphynx next month and I just have a question. My breeder feeds her Royal Canin food (which is a good brand I heard.) but I want to change the food. Is it safe? The brand I'll be getting is Taste Of The Wild. I'll be getting a 15lb bag, how long do you think that would last with my kitten and my sisters adult cat? Pet's info: Cat | Sphynx | Female | unspayed | 1 month and 23 days old

It's definitely safe to switch but make sure you do it gradually over a week's time, the brand is very good as well. make sure it is a kitten food and not adult food, meaning this will not be appropriate for your sister's adult cat, kittens and adult cats should have each their own food). a 15 lb bag for your kitten will probably last around 2 months+.
