My small male Shi Tzu puppy has fleas. He is 3 and a half months old and weighs less than two pounds. Is it possible to get rid of the fleas ourselves or should we take him to the vet as soon as possible. Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Male | unneutered | 1.5 lbs

Basically because he is very small and weighs under 2 pounds, the only safe product for him is Frontline spray which you can only get from a vet, this means you will indeed need to take him to the vet in order to resolve this problem.
