Hi , I kept one puppy from my girl's litter , when he was drinking from her milk he was healthy and very chubby . After he stopped drinking her milk he started to loose weight very rapidly , I de-wormed him and currently gave him his 2nd injection . He has 16 weeks now and he became really thin , his ribs are showing and sometimes he doesn't have the appetite to eat , he sometimes eats his dried food and I also started give him some of our food .Any suggestions ?

Have him examined by a veterinarian. A stool sample should be rechecked for intestinal parasites or bacterial overgrowth. Puppies typically require multiple deworming to clear parasites. Malabsorption or maldigestion issues should also be ruled out. Review the vaccination history with the veterinarian to confirm Brownie is adequately protected against illness.
