Ok, recently adopted 8 week old female Rottie. She was the runt so instead of the typical 12 to 15 pounds she only weighs 9.4 I am not concerned with the weight. I am more concerned with her weak ankles. I know it is quite common in baby Rotties to have weak pasterns and even bow a little due to lack of being able to move around enough and I do believe this to be the case. In some cases this gets better as the mature. What do you guys think? And any recommendations to help fix it?

Yes, you are correct. With good nutrition, slow to moderate growth rate, controlled exercise and maintaining a normal weight she should improve and be normal when she's grown up. Please limit jumping and explosive movements, excessive rough housing and I recommend feeding a large breed dog food. She's a beauty and should be fine.
