My dog is hiding, won't move, and yelped. Is his back leg injured?

I found my dog hiding under table 2days ago.he doesn't seem to want to move.he yelped when he jumped on the couch seems to be his bck leg.he doesn't seems to want to move but when he does get up he will walk and go for a pee but seems scared to move.he seems withdrawn and doesn't want to play as normal.he is eatin and drinkin.but have to to take it to him.he has been for a walk but as soon as he is back in he goes bck to hidin in the corner.he was shakin and shivering but not so noticable now. Poor Barney! The signs you are describing sound like he is in a lot of pain. He may have injured his back, limbs or neck when he jumped off the couch. I recommend taking Barney to your veterinarian so they can decide where the pain is coming from. There are no safe over the counter pain medications for dogs so you will need to see a veterinarian to help Barney with his pain.
