What oral flea and tick prevention can I give my touchy dog?

Hi, We have a rescue who is touchy if we were to try put on frontline tic prevention on his neck and was wondering if there was anything he could have orally? Many thanks Andy. Pet's info: Dog | Border Collie | Male | neutered | 9 years and 8 months old | 45 lbs

Hi and good morning Andy. Thank you for posting your question! Yes, there are many options orally for flea and tick control. I am not sure what is available in the UK, but there are two very good products out there: NexGard and Simparica. They are both very safe and very efficacious.
