Why does my dog have a recurring lump, black patches, and hair loss?

My 2 year old somewhat obese bitch has a recurring lump in her abdomen close to her skin on left hand side near back leg. Also black patches to her cream pelt and some hair loss. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 2 years old
