Will neutering my muscular dog affect his build or physique?

We are thinking about getting tux neutered however I was wondering what the lack of the testosterone hormone would do to his build. He is a very muscular and fit dog in perfect condition how will neutering him effect this. Pet's info: Dog | Boston Terrier | Male | unneutered | 2 years old | 40 lbs

Hello, thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Neutering will do very little to his build as long as he remains active & has an age appropriate diet. Neutering early, at 5-6 months can result in a leaner build, & generally a slightly taller dog as the growth plates in the legs stay open a little longer, but at this point in Tux's life you will see very little change in his build.
