Hello, I am planning on getting a German Shepherd Dog puppy, and I am hoping I can get some advice on how one might react to my schedule. I am a high school student, so 5 days a week, from 7:00 to 3:00 im not home, but usually someone would be home. That is, until about 12:00 pm. I want to get a 2 month old puppy, and by the hour per month rule, maybe 2 hours of controlled bladder. However, this period could be a bit over 3 hours of no control. What is worst case scenario, and best way to avoid?

The puppy should be fine if it's taken out at noon for a pottty break and you take it out again as soon as you get home. I recommend keeping it in a crate and you can have a puppy pad in the crate for accidents if needed. A big dog will grow and mature quickly so you should only have to worry about this for the first week or two. I'm glad you are doing so much research before you get your puppy. You'll have lots of fun with it and German Shepard Dogs are very smart so enjoy training with it.
