My dog has a sudden knot on his ear after being outside. What to do?

Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 65 lbs

We have a pitbull an just noticed this morning a knot on the top of his left ear above the flap. It was not there earlier an he was out using the bathroom an came inside.

It may be a reaction to a bite or sting that he got while outside. You can always try over the counter antihistamine such as Benadryl in case this is the problem. If gets larger and seems painful to him, then he should be seen at an emergency clinic today. If the swelling does not improve by tomorrow, then you can make an appointment with your regular vet.
