Please help, we had to evacuate for the hurricane and are in a hotel. Tonight my cat is constantly meowing and scratching at her litter box. She's on special food and had been acting normally before we left. I am terrified something is wrong and I won't be able to help her during and after the storm. Please help. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 3 years old | 12 lbs

This is a very stressful situation for her, and stress can provoke a bladder inflammation in cats. try to keep her calm as much as you can and if these symptoms get worse take her to the vet after the storm have calmed down to get the bladder inflammation treated.
