My dog's eye is red and swollen after getting loose. Is it cherry eye?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 1 year and 2 months old | 100 lbs

Hey I was just wondering if this is cherry eye. Smokey had got loose during the night and came back with red around his eye it has no swelling around it on skin but has swelling on the red part.

It does look like a cherry eye. Cherry eyes are usually in the inside corner closer to the nose. The redness in the outside maybe a sign of inflammation or an infection. If there is a discharge or he is holding his eye closed then he needs to be seen by your vet
